Ordering Information
Orders must specify:
● Quantity (length/number of tubes)
● Material grade (A-1 or C)
● Dimensions (outer diameter, wall thickness)
● Length (specific or random)
● Optional requirements (e.g., hydrostatic testing, non-destructive testing, certification)
Materials and Manufacture
- Steel-making Process: Open-hearth, electric furnace, or basic oxygen process.
- Heat Treatment: Tubes must be heat-treated (annealing, normalizing, or stress relieving).

Test Requirements
- Tensile Test: One test per lot (50 tubes max).
- Flattening Test: For tubes < 2⅜ in. (60.3 mm) OD.
- Hydrostatic or NDT: Each tube must undergo hydrostatic testing or non-destructive electric testing.
- Hardness Test: Optional, if specified.
Inspection & Certification
- Manufacturer must provide certification of compliance.
- Third-party inspection may be required if specified.
Marking
Tubes must be marked with:
- Manufacturer’s name or trademark
- Specification number (A210/A210M)
- Grade (A-1 or C)
- Heat number
- Size
