The internal structure of pressure vessels is often complex, making installation work time-consuming and labor-intensive. To improve the efficiency of piping installation inside pressure vessels and to enhance safety by reducing the number of weld seams, design engineers usually adopt J-shaped, U-shaped, and S-shaped tubes. For pipe manufacturing companies, producing these tube forms presents both opportunities and challenges. Quality Control: High Precision U-Bend Tubes

For bending radius requirements such as R < 1.5D or even R < 1D, our team first develops a solution, conducts trials, and makes continuous improvements to tooling and process guidelines until the customer’s design parameters are fully met before entering mass production.

According to both international and domestic standards, the ovality tolerance for U-bends is generally set at 12.5%. However, in actual delivery, we consistently control ovality within approximately 5%, and never exceeding 10%. In our strict inspection process, any U-bend with ovality above 10% is treated as a non-conforming product.
